Referring Doctors

  • Salmon Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery accepts referrals for the full scope of office-based oral and maxillofacial surgery. The practice was formerly McRae Wilson Oral Surgery Group. Dr. Bryant Salmon, DMD, MD, is the sole owner and surgeon.

    To refer a patient, call 901-767-0088 or email bsalmonoms@gmail.com. To request a referral pad, email the office and one will be delivered.

  • • Patient name and phone number

    • Reason for referral

    • Recent radiographs, emailed to bsalmonoms@gmail.com

    • Relevant medical history, if you have it

    Patients are asked to bring the referral slip. Additional films, including cone beam CT, can be taken in the office.

  • • Wisdom teeth removal and other extractions

    • Single implants, immediate implants, and implant-supported dentures, All on X

    • Bone grafting and preprosthetic surgery, including platelet-rich fibrin

    • Exposure of impacted canines

    • Oral pathology, biopsies, and oral infections

    • Apicoectomy after a failed root canal, when the tooth can be saved

    • Facial trauma evaluation

    IV sedation, nitrous oxide, and local anesthesia are available. Dr. Salmon is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has staff privileges at Regional One Health, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Methodist-Le Bonheur Memphis Hospitals. He is an associate professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.
